Great picks! I would add Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer. The movie unfairly turned people off, I suspect, but the book is the number one resource I return to when struggling with grief. It’s power is immense yet intimate, and Foer proves himself inventive and ruthless in depicting the awful things tragedy can do to our lives and ourselves.
